Kuroshitsuji 10th anniversary Bottle straps!!

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to share with you the long-awaited Kuroshitsuji 10th Anniversary bottle straps! 
The "concept art" for these straps were released probably at least a year ago, as one of Yana Toboso's drawings. Months later, sketches of the straps were realeased, including  secret strap .

I was sort of hoping the straps would stay in that sketchy style, but I love the colored ones as well~

The straps came in a little plastic box sealed in bubble wrap, with a paper ribbon on the front

 The ribbon reads: "We certify that this article has been entirely manufactured by Funtom Co. Please keep this card with care." (even though Funtom is a made up company but OH WELL)

 The box is clear with cute golden print all over it 

 beautiful.

The straps were a bit smaller than I had imagined, but they managed to cram a lot of detail into them!

Each strap came with a paper background, which looked like a tiny stage with curtains and all ;w; I sort of felt bad having to take them off

Now, I just want to point out that the mystery strap, was in fact, a second Sebastian-only more derpy devilish. I have to say, this Sebastian strap takes the cake when it comes to facial expressions. I mean look at him, hes probably sommoning all of hell within that tiny bottle. Thank god he's contained >3>

Overall, I was very impressed with how much detail was put into the straps and their packaging. I think these may be the fanciest straps Kuroshitsuji has ;w; Derpy demon Sebastian was priceless, as well as upside-down Undertaker stuffed in that tiny jar xD

WHERE TO GET:

Because these are limited edition (or special in some way, because I think only special items come with that ribbon card), I'm not totally sure they are still in stock or for sale, but the site I bought them from was Square Enix store. Unless you live in Japan, I think you will need a Japanese shopping service to order them (I just ordered mine with my Undertaker figure to save shipping lol) The straps were 4,900JPY, or $39.89 USD.

So if you are able to purchase these straps still, I would highly suggest doing it! Also if you plan on buying them, please buy the entire set, because that's the only way you will be able to receive derpy Sebby.  And you don't want to miss your opportunity to own derpy Sebby.

Undertaker figure review!!

Guys. it's here. What we've all been waiting for. THE UNDERTAKER FIGURE HAS ARRIVED!!! I remember when the news first hit tumblr, and everyone was freaking out about the fact that an actual official Undertaker figure would be released. That was a good 7+ months ago, and now....it is here.

The figure came wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap, with little Undertaker strap hanging on for dear life

Because I ordered the figure directly from Kotobukiya's shop (using a shopping service), I got this little Undertaker strap as an extra! Each of the "chess piece" Kuroshitsuji figures have their own mini strap of the figure

Also, as an additional extra, they sent me a Halloween UT and Grell gift bag! Ciel and Sebastian are on the other side but we don't care about them. 

The box Undertaker comes in is pretty fancy, with small details and reflective embelishments 

On the back of the box were more fancy designs, plus UT on a checker board! It's odd how Grell, Sebastian, and Ciel all have chess pieces their figures were modeled after, but Undertaker doesn't. I wonder if this is somehow symbolic

The plastic holding Undertaker in the box even had a little hole for his face to poke out of. Hey UT, how's it goin' in there?

The figure came in three pieces: Undertaker, his scythe, and the platform.

The figure came with a little instruction sheet for putting him together 

Just thought I might mention that in order to have him hold his scythe, you gotta RIP HIS HAND OFF

 Look at this glorious heehee. This is a VERY intricate figure, and the shading and details are amazing *0* Let's just take a moment to appreciate all of his details

Now, I thought I might mention that Undertaker fiogure does NOT have visible eyebrows, at least none that are gray. The does have two small skin-colored lines around the eyebrow area, but they are very small. Therefore, we can conclude that UT is an old-ass man who's eyebrows have whithered away due to age.

 For now, Undertaker figure is going to be hanging out with the magical girls on my figure shelf until I can truly put together a UT shrine~

So yes, after months and months and LOTS OF MONEY, my Undertaker is safe and sound in my room. This is by far the fanciest and most detailed anime figure I own, and I cherish it dearly ;w; 

WHERE TO GET IT: 

*disclaimer- I'm going to tell you right now that this is not, nor wil it ever be a cheap figure. Expect to pay $125 at the average.*

 

I bought my UT figure directly from Kotobukiya using a shopping service, but honestly that was probably the most expensive way to get it. The only reason I would suggest buying it this way is if you really want the extra strap.

Right now, the best and CHEAPEST place to buy this figure would be from Tokyo Otaku Mode. The figure automatically comes with free shipping, and if you sign up for their site here, you get $10 off Undertaker. So, with free shipping plus $10 off, you would be paying a total of $109 for the figure, which is the best anywhere so far.

AmiAmi is also selling the figure, but with shipping it will probably come out to around $130.

☆ YouMe cafe Book of Circus merch review ☆

Hello, everyone! Today I will be sharing with you some anime merchandise that I hold near and dear to my heart (mostly because it was only sold for a limited time):

 My  Undertaker and Grell merch from YouMe Cafe! sold to me by the lovely vvlin91 on tumblr~

When I first heard that both YouMe Cafe and Animate Cafe in Japan were selling these adorable items EXCLUSIVELY at their cafes, my heart sunk like the Campania.  I knew that these items would eventually be popping up on sites like Yahoo!auctions Japan, but for horribly high prices. 

Just when I though all hope was lost, I found vvlin91's blog on tumblr and found out that she had access to YouMe cafe and all of its glorious cafe merch (´▽`ʃƪ) truly a miracle.

Undertaker cafe badge: 20HKD ( 2.58 USD)

The first item I bought was this adorable badge, featuring little Undertaker dressed in a waiter uniform >u< so cute<3 It is a very sturdy badge and is about  4.5 cm in diameter. It's a decent size for a badge, and also very shiny~

Fancy Undertaker charm: 50HKD (6.45 USD)

The second item I bought was this fancy-looking Undertaker charm (for lack of a better word). It is very detailed for its small size, and the little Undertaker face in the center is, again, very shiny~ 

Undertaker and Grell rubber keychains: 50HKD each (6.45 USD)

The last items I bought were the two rubber keychains of Grell and Undertaker! Just like the badge, these keychains are HUGE (which I adore). If I remember correctly, these were only sold at random, meaning you were not able to pick and chose the characters you wanted, so I feel very lucky that I was able to get both of the ones I wanted. My favorite thing about these two is that they both have cute little stars on their hair/hats ￣∇￣

I must admit- when I first found out that these were cafe-exclusive items, I wondered whether or not they would be of the same quality as the mass-produced Kuroshitsuji merchandise-and thankfully, they were! Not only are the items larger than normal, they are also very well made and cute~

I have no complaints about how much I paid for these items. I was given the price that they were originally being sold for, which made me very happy. I later saw on Yahoo!Auctions Japan that these items were being sold for CRAZY prices (like 50+ USD for one keychain), so I was even more thankful to have gotten them so cheap.

communication:♥♥♥♥♥

vvlin91 provided excelent communication on both how much I would end up paying for each item+shipping and for when her next trip to the cafe would be so people would have time to place their orders.

Shipping was very quick and cheap, and the items all arrived packaged sefely.

I have zero complaints about this order, and will definitely place more orders from vvlin91 in the future if any more hard to get Kuroshitsuji items come around.

Sadly I think all of the YouMe Cafe items are sold out just about everywhere, since they were being sold in January. If you still want to try and hunt them down, I would suggest searching on Yahoo!Auctions Japan or FromJapan shopping service. Just be prepared for high prices if you do find some left.

☆ AmiAmi Review- giant merch order ☆

Hello, everyone! Well, this is my first official website/merchandise review *GASP*. So, without further adieu, Here is my review for the shopping site AmiAmi ~

Here is all of the items I bought from them. They all arrived in a big box with styrefoam padding, which is very useful for keeping your precious items safe and cozy. ( ´ ▽ ` ) Shipping to the United States usually takes no more than about a week after payment.

~CardCaptor Straps~

cost:4,990 JPY (about 41.52 USD)

The first item(s) I got were a 10pack set of "TINY" CardCaptor Sakura rubber straps. 

I took about ten thousand photos of the box because it was just too cute >3<

Each strap came in it's own individual box, with more adorable pink artwork

Here is the full set of straps, in all of their adorable rubber glory. While the box they came in had the word TINY written all over it, these straps are by no means tiny! They are a good size and very sturdy. 

The only thing I would change about these straps is the fact that they have the dust-plug type of strap instead of the traditional strap. Because I have an iPhone5, it's very awkward to have a character hanging way down below my phone rather than up near the top of my phone.

~UT phone strap~

cost:920 JPY (about 7.65 USD)

The second item I received was a VERY BIG Undertaker phone strap/screen cleaner. It was 11cm long, which is quite big compared to any straps I've seen before! Because it was so long, the plastic was easily bendable, making it kind of hard for it to keep its straight shape.

I absolutely LOVE the little bow/lace design on the back. It was very pretty and girly (◡‿◡✿) (no offense, Undertaker)

and here is the screen cleaner part~! It is actually pretty hard for a screen cleaner, but the back side is still sort of poofy and soft, and it actually cleaned my phone screen pretty well! I really love the screen cleaner because it looks just like on of Undertaker's lockets, and they used a different image of him than on the strap. 

~CardCaptor  Koedarize figures~
cost: 3,050 JPY (about 25.38 USD)

The third item I received was a 6piece set of CardCaptor Sakura figures by Koadarize! 

CardCaptor items always seem to have the cutest box art

each figure came in its own tiny box. I fell in love with all the adorable artwork on the boxes, and even kept one so I could save it

I find it cute how they are all very square/rectangular >u< They are simple and tiny but very cute. Plus, each figure comes with an alternative face! By removing the hair you can turn the heads around for a different expression.

~Sakamoto-san plush strap~
cost:1,080 JPY (about 8.99 USD)

Last but not least, I got this plush Sakamoto phone charm! Often times it's rare to find a plush phone strap that has quality detail and proportions, so I consider this little guy a gem. Since he is soft and fuzzy, I've been using him as a screen cleaner as well xD I hope he doesn't mind.

The quality of all of these items was top-notch! All items were authentic and new. I also love how AmiAmi always sends sets of items in their original store display boxes

I was exremely happy with the cost of eavh item. AmiAmi usually sells their merchandise for less than what most other sites sell for!

The shipping cost was about average for the size/weight of what I ordered, not too expensive but also not the cheapest. It arrived within a week, so that's always great!

Overall I was very pleased with my experience shopping at AmiAmi. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for Japan-only items, or items not sold in the U.S.
