Gudetama Crate from Okashda review!

Legend has it, that in 2016, a candy and merchandise crate would be released that would be filled with amazing Gudetama items for all Gudetama lovers to enjoy...
well my friends, that Gudetama crate does in fact exist, and I just received it TODAY!! The Gudetama crate, released by Okashda, contains some of the most sought-after  Gudetama candies and merchandise from Japan! Now, it is time to reveal the legendary egg crate~
The Gudetama crate came wrapped like a present, with an orange ribbon and cute "gift tags" attatched! This was probably the best-dressed subscription box I've ever gotten *0*

Inside, I was greeted by Gudetama-folder saying "dull" what did you call my you little punk
All I can say is, Okashda must have teamed up with Gudetama himself to make this crate, because I can't believe all the awsome Gudetama things I'm seeing! Time to dig in~

The first items I pulled out were the mini Gudetama egg chocolates! (I had to because they were small and adorable) Each chocolate was individually wrapped, almost similar to a jelly or pudding. They were made of white chocolate and were very smooth and yummy =w=
The next item in the crate was this Gudetama bath bomb with a little Gudetama prize inside!
-one bath later-
Inside the bath bomb (which smelled like oranges btw), was a gudetama "hidden egg" charm! If you pull up on the egg shell, it will reveal a little Gudetama inside, which was super cute. I have wanted a Gudetama bath bomb for a while, but the only ones I were able to find were waaaay overpriced, so I'm glad this was included!

The next item I received was a bag of Gudetama candies!
Each candy wrapper had a different picture of Gudetama on it! Each candy had a hard, orange-flavored coating and a chewy yogurt center! I have tried these candies once before, only I think those were yogurt flavored. Both flavors were very tangy and sweet~
(also, I thought I might add that I found a VERY SPECIAL Castella Gudetama on one of the wrappers, which match my plushies:
 beautiful)
 The next item in the crate was this cute little Gudetama hand towel! It was very soft, and had a stiff orange tag on the side (not sure if it was supposed to be removed, but it looked fancy so I kept it) I'm also a huge fan of small cute towels ;w;
The next candy I got was a bag of Gudetama chewy taffies!
Similar to the first bag, these candies also each had a different Gudetama on each wrapper! The red wrappers had lemon-flavored candies, and the yellow wrappers had ornge flavored ones. These were very soft and chewy, and tasted amazing

The next item I got was a set of mini Gudetama envelopes!
Each envelope was very small, and came with a strip of gudetama stickers. These are meant for very teeny letters xD

The next item I received was a bag of Gudetama gummies! I have tried these once before, they are coated in a bit of sugar and taste like orange and lemon. The texture can be somewhat jelly-ish rather than gummy, but I always enjoy them because they are shaped like different Gudetamas~

Next was this cute little Gudetama note pad! Each page had a Gudetama image on it (the one on the front of the pad)

The last Gudetama item I received was this Gudetama folder! Gudetama appears to be having a dull day on this one. I like how, in more character-themes crates, a character folder in included!
PS: Simon decided to join us for the review, as usual

~Thoughts~

Overall, I thought this Gudetama crate was so much fun to open, and it had even more awesome Gudetama items in it than I expected! All the Gudetama items in this crate were items that I believe just about any Gudetama fan would go crazy for, especially the bath bomb and the gummies. Plus, many of the items included in this crate only sell individually and are overpriced, so I'm glad this crate included them all for a decent price. I was so happy that a subscription box finally decided to make a Gudetama crate, and I would totally recommend Okashda for any future crates!

Since this Okashda crate was a one-time crate, I think it's already sold out, but if you want to sign up for Okashda and any next character crates they will have, you can go here to subscribe!

Thank you Okashda for the amazing Gudetama crate, and thank you everyone for reading!

Japan Crate November review!

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to share with you Japan Crate's November crate!I was super excited to hear that this one would be coming with a Funassyi snack :D
Every japan Crate arrived within three days of shipment, which is great because you will always know when it will arrive~
 such candy

This month, they included TONS of brightly-colored and fun looking stuff! So...let's dig in!
The fisrt item I pulled out was this month's bonus item: a blind box Naruto figure! I don't know this character's name but let's just call her "creepy purple eyes"

Next, we have the "Fluffy Long Neck Marshmallow," aka, a long marshmallow twist with a very long name. The colors on this marshmallow twist were very cute and pastel, and it was very delicious~

The next candy I received was cookies and cream Peejoy! These seem to be a popular candy with subcscription boxes, along with Pocky and Pretz. The cookie outer layer is chocolate, and inside is a very smooth cream filling =w= they sort of remind me of those cream-filled cereal straws from a while back

either way, these are probably my favorite Peejoy snack

The next snack I got was Hot Chili Salad Pretz! As I said, you are almost 100% guaranteed to receive a box of either Peejoy, Pocky, or Pretz, and this month I received both Peejoy and Pretz. By no means am I complaining, because Hot Chili Salad Pretz is a gift sent from the spicy and flavor gods.  It has a great balance of flavor, kick, and seasonings

The next snack I received were the Purple Sweet Potato Sticks. I'm not going to lie,  these weren't my favorite due to their smell and odd flavor. They had a slightly fruity taste mixed with the sweet potato which just wasn't my thing
The next candy I got were three Black Thunder chocolate bars! They are kind of like extreme Rice Krispy treats, with chocolate and cookie bits. I really liked these, they had a good texture and felt like an entire meal on it's own! And, unlike Rice Krispy treats, these were very heavy and filling

The next candy I received was the "Superstring Q," which could also double as the name of an erotic panty brand. This was like a very long ans thin gummy worm, and tasted about the same. It was very fun to eat ~

The next item I received was Glico Man Caramel & Toy, which contained two little boxes: one with a toy, one with candy!
The toy was a little wooden rocket, which came in three pieces, accompanied by chewy, heart-shaped caramels. I'm not sure if the rocket was supposed to be a sort of puzzle or not, but it was cute either way, plus the caramels were extremely good
The next candy I got was Pachishuwa Grape soda Mix, which I decided to rename as "sugar Crack" since it looks like a funky new drug that all the kawaii-desu kids are doing. This candy was described as "exactly what grape soda would be like if you could eat it instead of drink it," although I think Welch's fruit snacks already claimed that market. It tasted like a mix of jelly beans, pop rocks, and dried sour-patch kid flakes, which made for a very sour and grape taste. It wasn't bad, it just looked and felt a bit odd. (come to think of it, it could also be called "grape amoebas")

The next snack I got was Uranai-kko Bubble gum! This gum came with a little kawaii rabbit on the package, and each stick of gum came with a fortune written on it, which I could not read. These gum sticks also reminded me of Undertaker's sotoba
just saying
The next candy I received were Meiji Diced Caramels!
(the boxes were super cute omg)
Each box contained one individually wrapped caramel. I really enjoyed these candies, even though you had to go through a bunch of layers to get to them xD Caramel was another big theme this month

The next item I received was another gum, called SPY vs SPY Sour Gum. This gum was indeed sour, so sour that I actually couldn't chew if for more than 10 seconds before spitting it out >3> Maybe I'm just weak, but this gum was VERY cour, inn a strong chemical way. I probably won't be saving the rest of it

Now....begins the true fun...
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Funassyi candy was, in fact, a DIY kit!
The DIY kit came with a plastic Funassyi cup and straw, and a baggy of pear mix.
The DIY kit also required milk and ice. Here were the instructions for making the drink:
1. Fill cup to line with milk
2. Add an ice cube and the powder
3. Put on lid
4. shake well until powder is dissolved

And the final result...

A pear-flavored Funassyi slushy! This little drink legitimately tasted like pear, and was actully pretty refreshing! I was very happy with this DIY kit

~Thoughts~

Overall, this crate probably had the most activity-based snacks out of all their other crates! There were lots of fun snacks that you could sort of "play" with, like the long gummy string, the little boxed caramels, the rocket toy, and of course, the DIY kit. I seriously enjoyed this month's Japan Crate, and hope they keep up with the super-fun snacks! As I have said in my past reviews, I will always recommend Japan Crate for a large variety of fun and unique snacks <3

Thank you Japan Crate for the awesome crate this month, and thank you everyone for reading!

October Japan Crate!

Hello everyone! Today we're going to take a look at what was inside October's Japan Crate!
Every Japan Crate arrives within two days of being shippied~
 such candy. much yum
I can already spot some snacks that I love! Plus, I see a little gacha ball( ゚▽゚)/
The first snack I pulled out were the Rich Cheese Scones chips (aka: Handsome Face Cat chips) at first I thought the picture on the bag was a marshmallow, and was slightly confused by the cheese taste, but they were very cheesy and very good( ̄▽ ̄)
Handsom Face Cat and his little friend are here to say hello again( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The next snack I received was Beef Tongue Umaiibo! I think this might have been the best snack in the whole box, it was savory and very delicious u 3 u I've never tried real beef tongue before, but if it tastes anything like this snack then it must be good!

Next up, we have Mini Dorayaki Pancakes! These little candies have the texture and taste of regular pancakes, plus they come with a red bean paste filling! I could have eaten about twenty more of these
The next Candy I received was Grape Gummy Ribbon! Each piece came wrapped in a striped little packet, which I thought was really cute. The candy had a somewhat tart taste, and wasn't overpoweringly grape
The next snack in the box was the famous Caramel Corn chips! These little "C" shaped puffs have a sweet and peanut-y taste with a hint of caramel. The sugary taste makes them almost addicting to eat >w>I think the main reason these chips are so recognizable is because of the bag design , which has the little surprised face on it 'O'
The next candy I received was Rum Raisin Ice cream candy. I'm not going to lie, this wasn't my favorite, mainly because the little pieces of raisin inside surprised me. I expected it to taste a bit more ice cream-y, but my family seemed to enjoy it!
The next candy in the crate were the Mysterious Soda Balls (yes, that is their name). These were the type of soda candy where each chew is a different soda flavor, and mixing them will give you combinations like "lemon lime soda," or  "Melon Calpis." There are many variations of this type of candy, but they are all very good and taste somewhat like skittles
The next candy I got were Sour Fruit Gummies! These are kind of like Sour Patch Kids, only way more mild. I prefer these over Sour Patch because the sourness doesnt' overpower the flavor. Also, the peach gummies were amazing (=´∇`=)
The next candy I received was Poiful Soda Beans! These were like the jelly bean version  of the Mysterious Soda Balls, in that each one is a different flavor, and the idea is to eat multiple ones at the same time to create new flavors. I can't decide whether or not I liked these or the soda balls better!
The next candy in the crate were these Vitamin C Lemon Drops (they seem to have a theme of "candies with literal names" this month). These were very good, and had a nice soothing lemon taste, similar to a cough drop!
This month's DIY kit was called Chitto Soda DIY. I have yet to try it, but once I do I will update with photos~
SODA TIME. This month's drink was Briley's Orange, a canned drink very similar to orange juice! This drink was good enough to consider buying again, if I ever come across it in stores(⌒▽⌒)☆
Now...for the gacha. The hint we got earlier in the month was "dogs," and they certainly weren't lying! This little gacha contained a small keychain figure of a dog with some kind of chocolate dessert. I think this was super cute, and I really love the fact that they're adding little gacha in their crates now!

~Thoughts~

Overall I was very happy with this crate and all the candy inside it! I was especially happy that Japan Crate is choosing to add toys/gacha to their crates, it feels like I'm getting a little extra treat to remember each crate by(≡^∇^≡) I feel like this month's crate may have had more than the past two crates I've received, but maybe there were a few more smaller items rather than one or two larger ones. I think my favorite candies/snacks this month were the mini pancakes and the Umaiibos, and my least favorite was probably the Rum raisin candies. I can't wait for next month's crate, and until then, I will be happily stuffing myself with everything I received this month xD
